First Aid at Work Refresher (2 Day)
A two-day first aid at work course re-qualifies you as a first aider if your original First Aid at Work certificate is about to expire.

This Course typically covers a range of topics, including:

First aid techniques: How to perform CPR, treat burns and scalds, deal with choking, and manage bleeding

Defibrillator use: How to respond to defibrillator prompts and how to place the defibrillator pad

Health and safety: The role of the first aider and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations

Incident management: How to assess an incident, record actions, and use available equipment

Unconscious casualties: How to deal with unconscious casualties, including those who are seizing

Other injuries and illnesses: How to treat minor injuries, bites, fractures, and sudden illnesses like seizures

Refresher status:
In regards with the recertification this can be done within 28 days of the expiry date, but after the expiry date they are no longer considered competent to act as a first aider in the workplace until they have completed their 2-day FAW refresher
